Differences between white ATS-180w files and black ones:

  • White files are made of aluminium oxide, making them more flexible, soft and wear-resistant. Black files are made of silicon carbide, making them harder but more fragile.

  • White files have fine rounded abrasive grains that do not injure the nail plate. Black files have sharp abrasive particles that self-sharpen during use.

  • White files feature a stearate coating that prevents clogging with organic dust, while black files do not have this coating.

  • White files are better for working with dry nail dust, while black ones are more effective with wet nail dust.

  • The white color ensures no visible marks or scratches remain on the nail surface, and light abrasive particles are invisible when working with artificial nail material.
